After tracking several street legal performance car for 15 years I was ready for something more, more safety, more performance, more reliability, and more cost effective to run. I wanted a safe, reliable, and fast track day car that did not cost a fortune to run and maintain. I listened to my track buddy's complain about running costs, reliability, and their concern for the ever increasing risk as they progressed as drivers. I looked through many ads for used race cars and home built HPDE cars and was not able to find what I was looking for. Most of the used race cars had all the safety concerns covered but were worn out and needed to be rebuilt to be reliable, most of the home built HPDE cars were focused on performance and less on safety.
I wanted safety, reliablity, and performance.
So the search for a viable platform to build from lead me to the S550 Mustangs and the first build began in March of 2016, that build was on track and testing in June of 2016. Testing lead to improvements, improvements added speed and all the while the car proved to be reliable. After two seasons of track days the testing is done, the car is quick, the builds have begun.
We build track day cars and full race spec cars from the Mustang S550 current generation cars. We have developed a safe & reliable package for use in door to door racing, time trials, and high performance driving events. The S550 Mustang is a massive leap forward for the Mustang and has proven to be a fast, affordable, and easy to maintain making it the perfect track car. With minor modifications the cars are fast and reliable, and very competitive.
